Introduction to the Faculty

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Lorestan University commenced its activities in 2005 with two departments: Business Management and Business Economics at the Bachelor's level. Concurrently with the increase in faculty members in the Management and Economics departments, and the addition of the Accounting department to the faculty, the development of postgraduate studies was emphasized. Consequently, the fields of Business Management and Accounting were introduced at the Master's and Doctoral levels, along with Doctoral programs in Human Resource Management, Doctoral programs in Organizational Behavior Management, and Doctoral programs in Public Sector Economics. Currently, this faculty, with 9 faculty members in the Business Management department, 4 faculty members in the Business Economics department, and 2 members in the Accounting department, has become one of the most important hubs in these fields in the west of the country, and the faculty members of this faculty are considered among the leading academics in providing educational, research, and consulting services to the economic sectors of the province.
